This attractive herb's leaves are used in drinks and cooking. Dried leaves are used in sachets. This plant has veined, light green, lemon scented leaves. It can spread aggressively but can be controlled by the amount of water given. It prefers full to part sun, well draining, rich soil. It can survive drought and poor soil. Tiny white flowers appear in summer, attracting bees. Prune frequently to prevent unwanted spreading and keep the plant looking tidy. Leaves may cause skin rash for some folks.
