Acacia longifolia
Golden Wattle
Description
Fast growing evergreen shrub/small tree grows 20' tall and equally wide. Flower heads are narrow, tubular, bright yellow and scented, appearing in winter and spring. It is used for its fast growth and screening use rather than for its bloom. However, it does need ample room to grow. It is not long-lived perhaps 20 years. Also known as: Sydney Golden Wattle

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
