Description

This slow-growing, shrubby, deciduous Magnolia has narrow leaves about 4" long and 1" wide. These fragrant, white flowers bloom in the early spring before leaves appear. Flowers have 19-21,star-shaped petals. It takes about 3 years before first bloom appears but it is well worth the wait. This tree reaches 10' tall and 20' wide. Frost can destroy blooms. Star Magnolia looks great in the entryway or patio where you can see the blooms.

Water Saving Tip:

Check your irrigation controller once a month, and adjust as necessary.

Most plants require only one-third as much water in winter as they do in summer.
